The woods, meadows, coasts, and mountains of our world are chock full of natural wonders. From unsuspecting hidden wild foods, to the medicinal properties of plants, to unassuming beauty, to the poisonous secrets, there is so so much to discover.

The Foraging Mermaid is my passion project to help you discover some of these wonders of the natural world. My aim is to try to share my personal experiences, insights, and discoveries, through content on this website, social media, and by leading you on immersive courses and walks centred around identification and foraging.

I have big plans for this website, to make a new fun learning tool that I'm really hoping will be a game changer for those of you who are interested in learning more about fungi in particular and don't know where to start or who don't get on with more traditional learning methods. As soon as I manage to have time to do the programming, that is!
